Abstract
Objective To analyze the prevalence features of influenza A(H1N1) and control results for accumulating experience in control of outbreak of influenza A (H1N1) in an University in Xi'an City.Methods Throat swab of patients with fever was collected and DNA of flu virus was determined by Polymerase Chain Reactions (PCR).The data was analyzed by SPSS 17.0.Results 337 patients were screened with Influenza-Like Illuess (ILI) and 59 patients were diagnosed influenza A (H1N1) and the peak period was 2~3 of September,showed one apex distribution.The male infection rate was higher than the female.Faculty distribution and the buildings distribution had a certain degree of aggregation.Conclusions Epidemic outbreak of influenza A (H1N1) occurred in an University in September of 2009 and the starting cases had been found.The epidemic development was controlled effectively through comprehensive prevention and control measures.
