Abstract
Based on the safety of FGD system,seven main factors contributing to the safe operation of limestone/gypsum wet FGD system were researched. The results show that the bypass duct is unsuitable to be cancelled because of the low safety of FGD system in China. The countermeasures and suggestions were proposed in the design, and operation related to the canceling of FGD bypass duct.
