Evaluation of reliability and validity of TCM syndrome questionnaire of sub-health state

Objective: To evaluate the reliability and validity of TCM syndrome questionnaire of sub-health state.Methods: Through the investigation,we collected 268 valid cases of sub-health population and 86 valid cases of health population from 3 centers,and we retested 65 cases of sub-health population,tested the validity of 63 cases of sub-health population.Results: ① On the reliability,in terms of the the overall and the dimensions of the questionnaire,the Cronbach α coefficient,split-half coefficient and stability coefficient range from 0.70 to 0.95,0.67 to 0.87,0.88 to 0.98 respectively;② On the validity,in addition to poor criterion validity,there are clear statistical significance(P0.01)in the dimensions and overall scores between the people of sub-health and healthy in the questionnaire;through factor analysis,there are 12 factors that the eigenvalue is above 1,the cumulative contribution rate is 63.632%.Conclusions: The questionnaire has a good reliability and validity,which can become a tool and scale to classify the syndromes of sub-health state.
