Abstract
Objective To study the effects and mechanism of Nimodipine on patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage (HCH) by measuring the cerebral vascular hemodynamics indexes(CVHI).Methods 96 patients with HCH were randomly divided into the Nimodipine therapeutic group (57 cases) and the control group (39 cases). All patients were given conventional treatments, while Nimodipine was given to the Nimodipine therapeutic group. The CVHI parameters were measured in the two groups before and after treatment. Volume of hematoma and area of edema were measured by CT scan. Therapeutic effects were assessed by physician respectively. Results In contrast with the control group, Qmean increased significantly in the Nimodipine therapeutic group after treatment (P0.05), R and CP decreased significantly after treatment (P0.05 and P0.01 respectively) while Vmean remained unchanged;there were no differences in the volume of hematoma and the area of edema between two groups;therapeutic effect rat was obviously better in Nimodipine therapeutic group (85.97%) than that of control group (58.98%)(P0.01).Conclusions Nimodipine can increases cerebral blood flow, decreases cerebral vascular resistence and improves short-term therapeutic outcome.
