Abstract
Objective To explore the running pattern and development trend on the new rural cooperative medical system in different areas and different economic conditions.Methods Medical and public health service utilizing levels between today and before were compared by observing the running state of the new rural cooperative medical system in 4.5 million population in the north of Northern China based on cluster sampling and stratified sampling.Results The annual hospitalization rate and the proportion of persons going to consult a doctor etc are all increasing obviously.Conclusion The new rural cooperative medical system improves medical and public health service utilizing level,and release the pressure of city hospitals.
