Abstract

The pilot program of new rural cooperative medical service has been gradually conducted in China since 2003.However in the process of implementing there still exist some problems.In this paper,based on the two studies of Operation Status of Rural Cooperative Medical Service in Beijing in the Period of Bare-Foot Doctors and Analysis of Factors for Success and Failure of Cooperative Medical System in the Period of Bare-Foot Doctors,we make a comparative analysis between the traditional cooperative medical service and the new rural cooperative medical service so as to provide a model for implementation of the new rural cooperative medical service.
