Study of Weishukang Capsule's Effect on Digestive Ulcer

Objective To study the Weishukang capsule's effect on digestive ulcer. Methods Rats were given respectively suspended Weishukang by ig reserpine,ligating pylorus and acetic acid gastric ulcer's,given consecutively 7 days,copy the (ulcer's) models calculate the index of the ulcer.The medicines were given consecutively 12 d and then the stomaches were taken out and calculated the index of the ulcer after the acetic acid ulcer models were made.The analgesic experiment was conducted by hot-plate method and twisting-body method,the method of giving the medicine as the above.Determine respectively each group of mice's pain limits,the latent period and times (within 15 min) of twisting-body reactions.107 patients were observed clinically.Experimental group took Weishukang,3 times a day,5 pills each time;control group took ranitidine 15 mg each time,twice a day,checked by endoscope within one week after one course of treatment so as to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Result Weishukang had therapeutic effect on experimental gastric ulcer and had significant difference ((P0.05)) compared with the control group;could increase the pain limits remarkably, prelong the latent period and reduce the time of twisting-body reaction of mice ((P0.05)).The effective rate of symptomatic improvement through clinical treatment was 91% in experimental group,92% in the positive control group;the ulcer's healing rate was 72.5% in the experimental group,79.4% in the positive control group,the two groups both had no significant differences in the effective rate of clinical symptom as well as the treatment of digestive ulcer ((P0.05)). Conclusion Weishukang has protective effect on gastric mucosa. Weishukang has a definite therapeutic effect on digestive ulcer.
