Clinical research of treating shoulder-hand syndrome by contralateral acupuncture on shoulder pain point combining with rehabilitation training

Objective:To study the curative effect of treating post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome by contralateral acupuncture on shoulder pain point combining with rehabilitation training.Methods:80 patients with post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome were divided into two group randomly.One treatment group with 40 cases were based on the combination of contralateral acupuncture on shoulder pain point and rehabilitation training treatment for shoulder-hand syndrome.Another was simple rehabilitation training treatment group with 40 cases.Then the improvement situation of the two groups' hand function(pain,Fug1 Meyer assessed on the move,outreach)were compared.Results:After the treatment,contralateral acupuncture on shoulder pain point and rehabilitation training group's hand function grading was higher than those of the simple rehabilitation training treatment group(P 0.01).Conclusions:The curative effect of contralateral acupuncture on shoulder pain point and rehabilitation training treatment is superior to that of simple rehabilitation training.
