Observation of curative effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on hemiplegia patients with shoulder pain

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on hemiplegia patients with shoulder pain. Methods100 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group (50 cases) and the control group (50 cases).The treatment group were treated by acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training, while the control group received rehabilitation training only. Scores of grade of shoulder pain and the Brunnstrom's classification of upper limbs in two groups were measured at pre-and-post treatment respectively. ResultsAfter treatment scores of grade of shoulder pain were less significantly ( P0.01), and the motor function of upper limbs improved to Ⅳ grade were more significantly ( P0.01) in patients of two groups . But the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group ( P0.05). Conclusions The treatment of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training can improve the effect on hemiplegia patients with shoulder pain.
