Abstract
Selection of indicators and establishment of system is one part of sustainable development theory.Combing the characteristics of Yunnan province with sustainable development theory,five indicator systems of sustainable development are built.Three indicators are selected from each indicator system respectively,based on which,the present status of sustainable development of 16 areas in Yunnan province are calculated as well as the assessment of the results.
