Comparative Study on Basic Public Health Service Cost of the Community Health Service Center and Township Hospital——Taking Chengdu City as an Example

Objectives To provide basis for the government improving the basic public health service compensation mechanism and establishing sustainable development system of basic public health,through comparing the basic public health service costs between community health service centers and township hospitals.Methods Selected 10 community health service centers and 20 township hospitals by stratified random sampling method,made investigations of the consumption figures of the time and materials in carrying out the basic public health services.Measured the actual costs the basic medical institutions carried out basic public health services by time distribution coefficient method.Results The actual cost and the per capita cost of the basic public health services in community health service centers and township hospitals were significantly different in 2010.Conclusions The government should take different compensation and management strategies accord to the actual conditions of community health service centers and township hospitals.
