On the Struggle of China's Urban Community Construction Between Unit Memory and Community Capital

Community construction has become a matter of concern in Chinese society. According to relevant definition, the nature of community construction can be interpreted as social communitization or social humanization. The development of human society is in fact the continuous turnover of community construction and community development. Unit system was nothing but the expediency at the beginning of the founding of PRC, the very negative impact of which has clearly displayed with the development of China's in-depth reform. If China's urban community construction is to be carried out smoothly, the shackles of old unit system must be cleared out first in order to foster good community capital and establish an effective community system, the success or failure of which depends on the ultimate struggle between the unit system and community capital.
