Abstract

It is well known that Changan, the capital of Tang Dynasty from the early 7th to the middle of 8th century, was not only the core of national politics, economy and culture, but the center of friendly communication, international trade and the exchange of religion and culture between China and western countries.Since 1950s,some relics about the communication in the sphere of religion and culture have been unearthed, which provide us with precious materials on the study of communication in the sphere of religion and culture between Tang Dynasty and Western countries, confirm the correctness of records of some historical documents and solve doubtful probelms in history.
