Abstract
The Tang dynasty was the historical era with prosperous Chinese culture in which multi-religious culture in the Western Region was regarded as the model.The Western Region was the road for communicating and spreading cultures between the East and the West in the Tang Dynasty.The many religions here absorbed each other,which formed the multi-religion situation with Buddhism as the central one.Different religions learned from each other.Among the people,beliefs showed the features with secularism and utilitarianism,which promoted the amalgamation and communication among different ethnic groups.
