Observation on therapeutic effect of application of Lidocaine Hydrochloride mucilage in the mouth in the treatment children's herpetic stomatitis

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of application of Lidocaine Hydrochloride mucilage in the mouth in the treatment children's herpetic stomatitis.Methods 200 patients with herpetic stomatitis were randomly allocated to two groups to see the result.The control group(n=100) received basic routine treatment only,while the treatment group(n=100) also received the treatment of application of Lidocaine Hydrochloride mucilage in the mouth.Results As for the treatment group,82 cases(82.0%) were significantly effective,10 cases(10.0%) were effectual and 8 cases(8.0%) were unfruitful with a total cure rate as 92.0%.When it comes to the control group,51 cases(51.0%) were significantly effective,23 cases(23.0%) were effectual and 26 cases(26.0%) were unfruitful with a total cure rate as 74.0%.There was significant difference in total rate of effects between two groups(P 0.01).Conclusion The treatment of application Lidocaine Hydrochloride mucilage in mouth in treating children's herpetic stomatitis is safe and effective,with no obvious side effects,and worthy of being widely used.
