Abstract

Objectives:The investigation studied curcumin influence on proliferation and apoptosis of human bladder cancer T24 cells.Methods:T24 cell serial subcultivation:Human bladder cancer T24 cell were educated. And different density were added into above cells and incubated to observe influence on proliferation and apoptosis;Cell proliferation inhibition rates were detected by MTT;Cell apoptosis rates were detected by flow cytometer(stained by propidium iodide). Results:Changes of proliferation morphology and proliferation rates of T24 cells:The condition of proliferation in curcumin groups decreased compared with control group;there were dose-effect(10-500μmol/L).Changes of apoptosis with T24 cells:The condition of apoptosis in curcumin groups(100,500μmol/L) increased compared with control group;there were dose-effectrelation in diferent curcumin groups. Conclusions:Curcumin can reduce human bladder cancer T24 cells proliferation.Curcumin can accelerate human bladder cancer T24 cells apoptosis.
