Abstract

Objective To explore the application value of three dimensional digital subtraction angiography(3D-DSA)reconstruction in small intracranial aneurysms. Methods Data of 13cases with intracranial small aneurysms(less than 5mm in diameter)were retrospectively analyzed, who were diagnosed by 3D-DSA cerebrovascular angiography and treated with invasive surgery. Results Of 13 cases,5cases had anterior communicating aneurysms,4cases posterior communicating aneurysms, 1case internal carotid aneurysm, and 3cases vertebral artery aneurysms.A complete embolization was performed in 4cases,aneurysm occlusion in 6cases,conservative treatment in 3cases.There was no case of intraoperative rupture or death. Conclusion 3D-DSA can increase the detection rate of small intracranial aneurysm and is valuable in the evaluation and treatment of small intracranial aneurysms.
