Practice and Effect of Self-Examination in Nursing Quality Control

Objective To investigate the effect of self-examination group in nursing quality control Methods Nursing quality self-examination group were set up in each Ward Areas for regularly check on nursing quality.Results After the establishment of nursing quality self-examination group,quality standards such as the nursing of all the critically ill patients of the hospital,basic nursing,ward management,nursing safety,first aid equipment and medicine,nursing records and nursing operation technology have been greatly improved.Nursing satisfaction increased from an average of 92.5% before establishment of the self-examination group to 98.88% afterwards.Conclusion Ward Area Quality Self-Examination Group,with its focus on on-site management,enabled systematic implementation,management and monitoring and timely feedback and rectification of nursing,forming a virtuous circle for the continuous improvement of the quality of nursing.
