Analysis on Breeding and Yield Level of Certified Rice Varieties in Jiangxi Province in 2005—2009

The breeding and yield level of certified rice varieties in Jiangxi Province in 2005—2009 were analyzed and assessed.The results showed that research institutions,seed company and college were the neuclear force of rice breeding in Jiangxi Province.The fluctuation of yield among years was not great,the yield of certified rice varieties had remained relatively stable and the potential to increase yields was significantly,butTwo-Line hybrid rice was fewer in local area.
