Insecticidal Activity of Datura innoxia Miller on Mythimna separate Walker and Aphis

The insecticidal activity of different extracts from Datura innoxia Miller against Mythimna separate Walker and Aphis were conducted.The results showed that the petroleum ether and ethyl acetate extracts from the different parts of D.innoxia Mill.against M.separate Walker had contact activities,the corrected mortalities were 50.00% and 36.00%,respectively.The methanol extracts from different parts had no antifeeding effects against larvae of M.separate Walker and had no effect against ovum of M.separate Walker.The ethyl petroleum and ether acetate extracts from seeds against Aphis gossypii Glover and Macrosiphum avenae Fabricius had contact activities,the corrected mortalities were 68.54% and 46.40%,62.84% and 37.74%,respectively.The ether acetate and ethyl petroleum extracts from seeds against Mythus persicae Sulzer had contact activities,the corrected mortalities were 48.83% and 29.36%,respectively.
