Insecticidal Activity of Datura fastuosa L. on Mythimna separate Walker and Aphis

The insecticidal activities of the different extracts from different parts of Datura fastuosa L.Against Mythimna separate Walker and Aphis was conducted.The results showed that the petroleum ether and ethyl acetate extracts from the different parts against M.separate Walker had contact activity,the corrected mortality were respectively 48.67%、35.33%.The methanol extracts from the different parts of the D.fastuosa L.had no antifeeding activity,and the different solvents extracts from the different parts of D.fastuosa L.had no killing egg effects against M.separate Walker.The ethyl acetate and petroleum ether extracts of seed against Mythus persicae Sulzer and Aphis gossypii Glover had contact activity,the corrected mortality were respectively 45.15%～61.75% and 22.06%～58.42%.The petroleum ether and ethyl acetate extracts of seed against Macrosiphum avenae Fabricius had contact activity,the corrected mortality were respectively 41.71% and 32.85%.
