CURRENT DEVELOPMENT OF COAL INDUSTRY IN HENAN PROVINCE

Abstract

Henan province is abundant in coal resources in China.The coal industry started early and developed fast. The industrial concentration is constantly upgrading.However,there are some problems including the severe destruction of the environment,the irrational coal industry producing structure,and low utilization of coal resource. Henan has huge coal resources and development potential.Improvements shall be made in the current market environment and policy planning.Via a SWOT analysis,this paper clarifies the coal industrial advantages, disadvantages,opportunities,and challenges,and presents some suggestions increasing investment in coal industrial study and human resources to extend the industrial links of coal industry and to increase the industrial convergency.
