Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To study whether lymphocytes of gastrointestinal tumor patients can take place of tumor cells to select the sensitive drugs with MTT assay, and investigate the evidence of chemotherapy strategy for the gastrointestinal tumor patients who can't carry out chemosensitivity of tumor cells.METHODS: Obtaining the lymphocytes before operation and tissue of tumor, sensitivity and inhibiting rates of 7 kinds of anti-cancer drugs were determined by means of primary cell culture and MTT assay.RESULTS: The effects of inhibition rate on tumor cells and lymphocytes had no significant difference between 7 chemotherapeutic agents, except cisplatin and carboplatin(P0.05);The compliance lymphocytes and tumor cells was 72.5%-85.0% among these of this chemotherapeutic drugs sensitivity(r was 0.506 9-0.745 8,P0.01).CONCLUSION: When the tumor cells of gastrointestinal tumor patients can't obtain to carry out chemosensitivity, the lymphocytes can take place of it.
