Abstract

Cultivation to realize simple customs was attached great importance in Huai Nan Zi for the social order construction. Differently,it had the basic standpoint of transforming the custombased on the thought of equal treatmentlike Taoism,while it wandered on the verge of the Confucius thought oftransforming custom so to cultivate folks to be better. The proposal of transforming customreflected in Huai Nan Zi was realized separately by content and form,so as to realize the Confucius social ideal of refining the customby the Taoism thought of equal treatment.
