Abstract

The article explains the meanings of 6 phrases in an ancient Chinese book Huai Nan Zi,makes some explanation and puts forward author's own opinions.The phrases are:Ji Wei's arrow,suiting the number and conforming to the times,everything issued from one hole,reserving benevolence and righteousness for ideal,quickly blowing in the springandquerying great master with very learned.
