Abstract
Aim To apply near infrared diffuse reflectance spectrophotometry(NIRDRS) and chemometrics for the quantitative analysis of Vitamin B2 tablets.Method Near-infrared spectra(NIR) in the range of 12 000~4 000 cm-1 were recorded by a fibre optic probe for the Vitamin B2 tablets containing riboflavin in the content of 57.5~87.5 mg·g-1.Different spectra pretreatments methods were compared.Finally,NIR spectra in the wavelength range of 7 116.4~4 468.5 cm-1 were selected to set up the calibration curve by the Partial Least squares Regression(PLSR) method,pre-treating with the first derivative combining multiplicative signal correction(MSC) method.Results The relation coefficients R2 was 0.9378 as indicated from the cross-validation,and the root mean square error of cross-validation(RMSECV) was 1.79,the root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP) 1.36.Conclusion The proposed method is robust,and could be used in the fast analysis of Vitamin B2 tablets.
