Review and Reflection——the Reform of Geological Work that I have Experienced and Understood

Before 1998,the main initiatives that adopted concerning the reform of geological work included:specialized restructuring of geological team;commercialization of some geological achievements;one industry-based,diversified economy, reform the geological exploration units into enterprises.Starting from 1999,with the gradual establishment of socialist market economic system,the reform of geological work has mainly carried out non-profit geological work,commercial geological work,as well as enterprise operation of geological exploration units.The author ponits out the future reform direction:be based upon the situation of geological exploartion system and mechanism,and use the experiences of western market economy countries for reference,to solve the sources of funding problems for mineral survey;to fully use the existing geological technical strength and geological data;to maintain the vested interests of workers of original geological exploration units.
