Influence of occupational computermen on male infertility patients of sperm parameters in Fujian area

Abstract

Objectives:To explore the effect of occupational computermen on male sperm DNA integrity and sperm parameters. Methods:860 cases of male infertility patients will be divided into computermen and non-computermen,520 control cases were recruited for the study;sperm parameters were analysised by fully automated SQA-V sperm analyzer;Sperm DNA integrity was evaluated by sperm chromatin dispersion(SCD),and the results were expressed interms of DNA fragmentation index(DFI).Results:A significant difference in the concentration and mobility and forward mobility and DFI of sperm between 3teams(P0.05). A difference in the concentration and mobility and forward mobility and DFI of sperm between computermen and non-computermen(P0.05).But there is no difference in the semen volume and PH between 3 teams(P0.05). Conclusion:Computermen affect routine semen parameters and sperm DNA integrity and result in male infertility.
