The clinical value of serum CysC and mALB in the diagnosis of early renal function injury for diabetes mellitus and hypertension

Objective:To evaluate the clinical value of serum cystatin C and urinary albumin(mALB)levels as a early diagnosis test for the patients with early renal function injury caused by diabetes mellitus(DM) and hypertension.Method:CysC and mALB were detected with immune turbidimetry,traditional renal function marker of serum creatinine and urea nitrogen levels were detected with enzymic method.Result:When serum creatinine and urea nitrogen levels were in normal range,CysC and mALB levels in DM and hypertension group were significantly higher than that of normal control group(P0.05).Among the DM group,the positive rates of CysC and mALB were 20.9% and 31.4% respectively,among the hypertension group,the positive rates of CysC and mALB were 13.8% and 16.5% respectively,the positive rates of combined determination of CysC and mALB were 52.3% in DM group,30.1% in hypertension group,there are no positive case in normal control group.Conclusion:The detections of CysC and mALB showed that they are senstive indexes of early renal function injury,the combined determination of CysC and mALB can improve the detection rate for early renal function injury,this can provide accurate reliable experiment basis for early diagnosis and intervention.
