Abstract

Object To investigate the causes of the oligohydramnios and the effects of it to the pregnant women and infants. Methods The clinical data resulted from two groups women were analyzed. One group were 281 women with the oligohydramnios as the observations, and the others were 281 women with normal amniotic fluid. Resulted The predilection period of the oligohydramnios was 37-39 pregnant-weeks and the rate was 73.3%(206/281). The correlation factors of the oligohydramnios were Hypertension pregnant-induced,fetal growth restriction(FGR),primipara. The incidence rate of fetel distress,FGR,neonatal asphyxia, transferring to the neonatal intensive care unit(NICU) in the group with the oligohydramnios was higher than that in the other group(P0.05). The Apgar score of the group with the oligohydramnios was much lower than that the other group with normal amniotic fluid. The accurate rate of measuring the amount of the amniotic fluid by the ultrasonography was 90.4%. So it did the simple and useful tools for examing the oligohydramnios by ultrasound examing. Conclusion There was harmful effects of the pregnant women with the oligohydramnios and infants. So it was absolutely necessary to terminate the pregnancy.
