COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENT PAINLESS INDUCED ABORTIONS

Objective To compare the curative effects of the combined use of propofol and fentanyl and the use of nitrous oxide on painless induced abortion.Methods 314 cases of induced abortion performed on women of early pregnancy coithout contraindications were randomly divided into three groups.Group One(98 cases) was treated with propofol and fentanyl to reduce analgesia.Group Two was treated with nitrous oxide.Group Three(118 cases) received no treatment to reduce analgesia.The effects of analgesia,the relaxation of uterine neck and the comprehensive effects of induced abortion were compared among the three groups.Results Better effects were got in bothGroup One and Group Two than in Group Three,and better in Group One than in Group Two.There existed no significant differences in terms of blood pressure and the 24-hour postoperative bleeding amount(P0.05).Conclusion The combined use of propofol and fentanyl and the use of nitrous oxide can both produce good effects in terms of analgesia,relaxation of uterine neck and syndromes on induced abortion.
