Abstract

Objective To find out the influence of injury on labor force and latent labor force. Methods The data from disease surveillance system of Jiading were used to analyze years of potential life lost(YPLL). Resuts Injury was the first or second leading cause of death among people under 75 in the standard rate of accidents.Traffic accident was the main cause of YPLL,and drowning was the first leading cause of injury death among people younger than 14. Conclusion Injury has become a serious problem of public health and measures should be carried out to prevent injury.
