Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the pharmacognostic characteristics of Desmodium multiflorum DC.METHODS The morphological identification, microscopic identification and UV-Vis spectrum identification were adopted.RESULTS Numerous fibers could be seen in the xylem of the root. The irregular crystals were found in the cortex, phloem and pith of the stem. The fibers of vascular bundle sheath formed into interval circularity in the main vein vascular of the leaves.Crystals, fibers and starch grains could be observed in the powder.Six kinds of extracting solution of crude drug had absorption peaks in 200-800 nm.CONCLUSION These results can be used for the identification of Desmodium multiflorum.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
