Abstract
Objective To establish an information system(TOP system) to manage clinical blood transfusion and evaluate transfusion effect. Methods The TOP system was developed by using C / S structure and standard programming language C and then was used in the hospitals to observe it's performance. Results The TOP system has good ability of data analysis and was very helpful to clinical blood transfusion management and transfusion effect evaluation. Conclusion The TOP system is more scientific and effective in clinical blood transfusion management and transfusion effect evaluation than the traditional statistics method used in transfusion department and can increase the work efficiency greatly. Thus, the TOP system is expected to be widely used in transfusion department in hospitals.
