Realization and Application of Clinical Blood Transfusion Information System

Objective To realize full-process and full-range management of clinical transfusion by using computer technology.Methods The existing process of hospital management of clinical blood transfusion in No.1 Military Medical Project was investigated retrospectively,on basis of which a series of information management systems about clinical blood transfusion was designed and applied clinically.Result The revised information system was projected successfully,which realized the whole flow-sheet with microcomputer to manipulate blood management from blood station to clinical units,and also improved efficiency,optimized work-flow,strengthened the administration and promoted quality of service.Conclusion The application of above mentioned revised system improves the existing clinical blood transfusion management,which is worth to generalize to parallel hospital to revise the blood transfusion system.
