Abstract
A significant heterosis resuts from crossing Nanjiang yellow goats with Tibetan goats of velley type. The reproduction suvival rate of the first crossbred generation(F 1)is 124.28%,which is 10.5 per centage higher than the pure breed of Tibetan goats. There is a significant different(P0.01)between F 1 and pure breed Tibetan goats in birth weight and liveweight of different age.Liveweight of castrated F 1 male and female of 18-months old reaches 27.69±2.77kg and 25.85±2.29kg repectively.Marketing age is 18 months for F 1,but 30 months for Tibetan goats.
