Effect of Crossbreeding between Boer Goats,Saanen Milk Goats and Chongming White Goats on Reproductive Performance and the Activity of Serum LDH

Abstract
The objective of this study was to select dominant combination.Two male Boer goats,Saanen goats and Chongming white goats were used respectively to mate with 20 female Chongming white goats to study effects of different combination on reproductive performance and the activity of LDH.Experimental period started from pregnant to 60 day old for 7 months.Regular breeding and caring methods were adopted during trail period.The results showed that 1)so far as reproductive performance was concerned,heterosis was showed when Boer goats and Saanen goats crossbred with Chongming white goats,hybrid effect of Boer goats was better than Saanen milk goats,goats had 2 young at a birth,survival lamb was 1.71,the rate of lambing was 200%,average ratio of survived lambs was 100%,1.71 weaning lamb was reproduced by per labor goat.Number of lambs born alive,lambing rate,survival rate of lamb,weaning lamb were the highest among three groups,was an ideal male parent for application.2) The activity of serum LDH of three type adult male goats was ordered by Boer,Saanen,Chongming goats in turn,the activity of serum LDH of Chongming was the highest among three varieties;in offspring of lambs,activity of serum LDH of Chongming goats was higher than Saanen hybrid male goats and Chongming self fertile,which can be judged as assistance that hybrid heterosis between Boer and Chongming was higher than F1 mail goats,and it should be the better cross combination.
