The Study about the Cultivation of Cross-cultural Communication Cbility in College Foreign Language Teaching

With the integration of eastern and western culture,cultivating and discovering students' cross-cultural communication abilities have been the trend in the open foreign language teaching in modern colleges.The teachers also need good cross-cultural communication abilities.Developing cross-cultural communication ability will become the main stream in foreign language teaching.With the purpose of studying and improving the cross-cultural communication ability,this thesis analyses the situation of college English teaching and the trend and characteristic of cross-cultural communication development,and elaborates the connotation of cross-cultural communication ability so as to address the problem of the cultivation of cross-cultural communication ability in college English teaching.
