Elderly Cholecystitis and Cholelithiasis treated by Shugan Lidan Decoction for 42 Cases

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of Shugan Lidan Decoction in the treatment of elderly patients with cholecystitis and cholelithiasis. Methods Eighty-four patients with cholecystitis and cholelithiasis admitted into our hospital were selected and divided into observation group(42 case) and control group(42 case) in random. Results The patients in the control group after treatment, 5 cases recovered, 19 cases markedly effective in 11 cases, and 7 cases were ineffective, the total efficiency of 83.3 %, while the experimental group patients after surgery of oral Shugan Lidan Decoction treated 8 cases were cured, 20 cases markedly effective, 12 cases, 2 cases in-effective, the total effective rate as high as 95.2%, obvious advantages in the control group, the difference was statistically significant( P0.05). Conclusion Shugan Lidan Decoction aided significantly the effect of clinical treatment of elderly cholecystitis and cholelithiasis,high security, is worthy of clinical application.
