Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the function of SysmexXT-1800i automated hematology analyzer. Methods:To examine the precision, carry over rate, linearity and total repeatability of SysmexXT-1800i,then compare its differential counts (DCs) of white blood cells with that obtained manually. Results:The precision, carryover rate, linearity and total repeatability were in the prescriptive range, and the correlation coefficients (r) between DCs of neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils obtained by handiwork and the machine were 0.96,0.954,0.462,0.807,and 0.618,respectively. Conclusion:The main performance indexes of SysmexXT-1800i accord with the experimental requirements, which shows the machine is an ideal automated hematology analyzer.
