The effect analysis of combined acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of lumbar disc disease

Objective To analysis the effect of combined Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of lumbar disc disease. Methods 100 cases of patients in our hospital from January 2012 to July 2013 with all kinds of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion were researched and randomly divided into A group and B group. All patients were performed, including traction treatment, routine treatment,patients of group A increase of traditional Chinese acupuncture content as observation group, group B as control group and compare two groups of patients' pain levels, short-term clinical treatment effect and prognosis of long-term follow-up level differences. Results All patients were treated for one week, two weeks, and four weeks, observing group level of pain score, the observation group[(6.57 ±1.17),(4.33 ± 1.21) and(2.97 ±1.04)]was lower than the control group[(7.32 ±1.02),(5.47±1.18) and(4.73 ±1.46)]. To observe clinical treatment,the observation group(90.00%) of patients was higher than the control group(72.00%)(x2 = 5.26, P 0.05), When compared of the prognosis level of two proups, the observation group was superior than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusions The Chinese acupuncture can play a positive role in the treatment of lumbar disc prolapse, it not only can quickly relieve patients' pain symptoms, can also improve the level of clinical treatment effect and prognosis of patients.
