Observe the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and moxibustion

Objective To observe the clinical effects of acupuncture therapy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods A total of 94 patients with lumbar disc herniation were enrolled from our hospital from February 2014 to September, and they were randomly divided into acupuncture therapy group(treatment group) and traction treatment group(control group), each group contained 47 cases. After treatment, all patients were detected and compared the outcomes. Results The total effective rate in the treatment group group was 78.72%, the total effective rate in the control group was 70.21%,it significantly higher than control group(P0.05). The treatment group with no adverse reaction, control group took the adverse with 5 cases, control group took the adverse reaction rate was significantly higher than that of the observation group(P0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture therapy was proved to be a safe and effective therapy for lumbar disc herniation and worthy of clinical use.
