Abstract

Objective:To research the effect and safety of anesthesia undergoing gastroscopy for the comparison with traditional gastroscopy. Methods: 80 patients were chosen as test group, each of whom was given propofol and fentanyl citrate while other 80 patients in control group were not given anesthesia during gastroscopic inspect. Then the patients’ responses, BP, HR, SpO2 and their feelings were recorded. Results: In the test group, side effects of patients such as salivate, nausea, vomit, uneasiness and cough were reduced compared with control group. The feeling that difficult to abide and comfortless decreased significantly and the patients were more likely to accept gastroscopy again in test group. In the test group, SBP, DBP and HR significantly decreased (P0.05) in examination than that before examination, while in the control group SBP, DBP and HR increased significantly (P0.05) in examination. SpO2 decreased slightly in both test group and control group with no significant difference. Conclusion: Gastroscopy can achieve effective, painless, comfortable and safe efficacy combined withpropofol and fentanyl citrate.
