Abstract

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of the treatment with different methods in different age of neonatal dacryocystitis. Methods Neonatal dacryocystitis, according to age and degree were used rushes local hot compress plus oral, lacrimal sac area massage, irrigation of lacrimal passage, pressurize syringing of lacrimal passages and other methods, is invalid for probing of lacrimal passage, to observe the curative effect. Results The results of conservative treatment of 73 eyes, 46 eyes cured, the cure rate was 63.01%. The lacrimal duct flush / pressurize syringing of lacrimal passages in 203 eyes, 162 eyes were cured, the cure rate was 79.80%. The probing of lacrimal passage in 70 eyes, 68 eyes were cured, the cure rate was 97.14%. Conclusion Early diagnosis and treatment of neonatal dacryocystitis, different treatment methods on the selection of different age, local hot compress plus oral Chinese medicine can improve the treatment effect of early.
