Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of calcium hydroxide, antibiotic paste and CP against endodontic interappointment emergencies(IAE).Methods 120 patients with IAE were randomly divided into three groups:A,B,C.Calcium hydroxide, antibiotic paste and CP was used for intracanal medicament respectively.Evaluation of the clinical curative effect was made a in 1 week after intracanal medication. Results The successful rate of group A was 95%,group B was 92.5%,and group C was 75%.The difference between group A and B was not significant(P0.05),the difference between group C and A was statistically significant(P0.05),the difference between group C and B was significant(P0.05).Conclusion Calcium hydroxide and antibiotic paste is effective in the treatment of endodontic interappointment emergencies.
