Influence of Chinese medicine Shanwei Decoction on p21 in cases from precancerous lesions in chronic atrophic gastritis

Abstract
Objective :To observe the therapeutic effect of Chinese medicine Shanwei Decoction on precancerous lesions in chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG).To evaluate the expression of p21 in the treatment of CAG. Methods :60 patients diagnosed through the examinations of Gastroscope and Pathologic were divided into treatment group (30,given Shanwei Decoction) and control group(30,given Houtoujun tablets) randomly.The treatment course was 12 weeks. Results :①The total effective rate was 90.00% in treatment group and 56.67% in control group with a marked difference between them, P 0.05;②The expression of atrophic mucosa gland was decreased obviously in treatment group and there was an obvious difference after treatment in treatment group and control group, P 0.05;③The expression of Dys,IM was decreased obviously in treatment group and there was an obvious difference after treatment in treatment group and control group, P 0.05;④The expression of p21 was decreased obviously in treatment group and there was an obvious difference before and after treatment, P 0.01. Conclusion :The traditional Chinese medicine Shanwei Decoction has a good effect on chronic atrophic gastritis.It can reverse Dys,IM and decrease the expression of p21.
