Spirit of Sword in Poems——Image Comparison of Sword between Li Bai's and Gong Zizhen's Poems

Abstract
In Chinese culture,a sword is a kind of weapon full of cultural connotations.Li Bai and Gong Zizhen use the image“sword”in their poems for many times,but sword reflects different characters because of the different times and experiences.Li Bai's sword embodies his desire to perform meritorious deeds and it demonstrates the positive spirit,while sword and vertical bamboo blute are beth used in Gong Zizhen's poems, which reflects his depressed spirit flying swiftly upward and constitutes his spiritual world with contradiction.
