Abstract

Autonomous learning ability has been a hot issue in the field of language teaching both at home and abroad.The cultivation of autonomous learning ability can not only develop the potential of learners' autonomy,but also improve their learning efficiency.In English teaching,students' role as active participants should be strengthened.Teachers should also be ready for the shift of the role to be an organizer,supervisor and facilitator.
