Abstract
A test method based on high capacity headspace gas chromatography/mass spectrometry was developed for determination of vinyl chloride monomer in artificial leather. The high capacity headspace conditions for determination, such as purging time, purging temperature, flow rate of carrier gas, desorption temperature and desorption time, were optimized by orthogonal test, and the parameters of chromatographic separation were also investigated.Under the optimum conditions, the linear range of vinyl chloride was from 66.1 to 6 610 mg /L,and the low detection limit was 0.07 mg /kg(S/N≥13).The relative standard deviation of reproducible test(N=6) was 6.17%,and the average recovery was above 98.13%.It was indicated that the method was simple and practicable.
