90 Elderly Patients with Superficial Vein Puncture and Nursing

Objective To investigate the trocar used in methods and care of elderly superficial vein puncture points and experience.Methods 90 cases of elderly patients to take a superficial vein catheter method in patients with superficial vein puncture,and appropriate care of superficial vein puncture.Results Trocar retained 6h-7d,puncture success rate of 97.4%.Five cases of patients with symptoms of local vascular redness,after reasonable treatment,the symptoms disappear.No patients had symptoms of phlebitis.Conclusion Intravenous catheter for the elderly superficial vein puncture can be reduced in patients with repeated puncture pain,but also to protect the blood vessels of patients.Reasonable and effective care,effective prevention of complications of venipuncture.
